Raised in rural Appalachia, I have been collecting herbs and woodland trinkets since I was a little girl.  Using foraged peppermint leaves and flowers I would create make-believe tea parties for both me, my sister, and the fairies of the forest.


That magic extended into adulthood as I began baking birthday cakes for friends and creating herbal remedies for loved ones.


I translate my love of nature and wild things into my art and use pieces I've foraged myself into wood carvings and resin work.  I love the combination of something natural that can also be displayed or utilized.
